Thrive Market Haul: My Go-to Picks

What’s In my Thrive Market Box? My Staples and Go-To Items.

My Thrive Market delivery is sometimes the highlight of my week! I have a number of staples that I ALWAYS reorder; but I also love discovering new things. I’ll share some of both from my most recent Thrive Market Order.

Wait… Should I tell you about Thrive Market first? Thrive Market is an online grocery store that sells my favorite organic and non-GMO products at wholesale prices (25-50% retail), and ships straight to your door. Not only is it super convenient, but every single product is tagged by over 90 different values. You can easily sort the catalog by value like Non-GMO, Organic, Gluten-Free, Paleo, AIP, Keto, and Sustainably Farmed. << THIS makes it so great for navigating special dietary concerns and allergies

I LIVE for the ‘new product’ emails- I’ve found so many great up-and-coming brands who are pushing back against the food industry standards. Thrive Market makes it easy to support small companies and underserved demographics with filters for “Family-Owned Business”, “Woman-Founded”, “BPIOC-Founded”, and more.

Yes, you pay a membership fee to join, similar to Costco. However, your membership will pay for itself in savings within the year (mine was within the first two orders!). IF not, you get the difference in Thrive Market credit.

Thrive Market Staples - What's In My Box?

Let’s Jump In to My Thrive Market Favorites:

For pantry staples, Thrive Market is my go-to place. I keep things like rice, oats, grains, legumes, and flours stocked. I can find Organic and Non-GMO items at lower prices than the grocery store. While you’ll find familiar brands like Bob’s Red Mill, Arrowmill, and Lundberg- I actually find that the Thrive Market Brand products are fantastic. Here’s what I restocked in my recent order-

Oats, Rice, and Flour

  • Organic Jasmine Rice – 32 Ounce Bag, $5.99
  • Organic Gluten-Free Rolled Oats – 32 Ounce Bag, $5.49
  • Organic All-Purpose Flour, 32 Ounce Bag, $3.99

Lately, we’ve been making quick rice in the Instant Pot paired with curry or stir-fry. This Thrive Market Rice cooks perfectly every time! I use oats for breakfast either as overnight oats, warm porridge, or as a base for Nut-Free Granola. And the flour, well, that’s my Sourdough Base!

Organic Non-GMO Thrive Market Staples

Legumes / Pasta

  • Sprouted Black Lentils, 10 ounce bag, $3.99
  • Organic Chickpea Shells, 8 oz. box, $3.49

I was recently turned on to Black Rice for it’s profound antioxidant benefit. When I saw these Black Lentils, I knew I had to give them a try. Anytime you can choose non-traditional colors of foods, do it! This means more phytonutrient variety in your diet.

For plant-based dinners that still supply protein, Lentil and Chickpea based pastas are a perfect addition. I am bummed that the Banza Brand, while it has clean ingredients, isn’t organic. So, I’m trying out Thrive Market’s Organic Chickpea Shells. Great thing to keep in the pantry for busy nights!

Only at Thrive Market

OK, There are a few things that I ONLY know of at Thrive Market. I’ve tried similar things.. but these are THE GOAT. It’s the Thrive Market Coconut Wraps and the Thrive Market Coconut Flakes Cereal. I consider these both a splurge item, because I seem to eat them waaaay too quickly.

Here’s the thing, the ONLY ingredients in both these products- Coconut Meat, Coconut Water, and Coconut Oil. The cereal is such a treat, a huge upgrade on “corn flakes”. And the wraps, these are my go-to for sardine salad or tuna salad. Delicious!

  • Thrive Market Coconut Wraps – 1 pack, $8.29
  • Thrive Market Coconut Flakes – 10 oz box, $7.99

Sardines, Tuna, Oysters & More

It’s no secret how much I LOVE SARDINES. Luckily, when I shop on Thrive Market I can afford to eat them as often as I choose. They often come down to about $1.50 per can – that’s like the price of a protein bar

I’ll add variety to my fish consumption as well- with SafeCatch Tuna, Smoked Oysters, and Canned Salmon.

  • Wild Planet Skinless, Boneless Sardines – 1 can, $2.39
  • Safe Catch Wild Tuna – 1 can, $3.39
Thrive Market Coconut Wrap with Smoked Fish, Red Onion, & Avocado

Sweet Snacks

  • Joolie’s Medjool Dates – 14 oz box, $8.99
  • OatHaus Granola Butter – 12 oz jar, $9.99

These are a match made in heaven! I love a good stuffed date – and OatHaus takes it to the next level. Yes, I could order Granola Butter directly (and I often do); but if I’m already putting together a Thrive Market Order… it’s usually a no-brainer addition.

How to Shop Thrive Market

You can choose to shop THRIVE MARKET any way that works for you! There are no required orders per month/year, and my boxes typically ship within two days. I’ll keep a running list of what I need, and watch for sales on items. They regularly discount things ON TOP of wholesale prices. See my list above? I got an EXTRA 20% OFF this order, a frequent ‘perk’ for members!

Similar to Costco, you’ll pay a monthly/yearly membership fee to shop. BUT, with your membership you get free shipping, exclusive discounts (seriously, so many great offers every week), and the ease of online shopping. Most members make back their membership fee in savings within their first TWO orders (I certainly have!!).

Right now, get 40% OFF YOUR FIRST ORDER + A FREE GIFT with a new membership.
